my 1st wittle tin boat

well we finally went out and found a small first starter boat .. hey nothing pretty but it serves its purpose .. got many great ideas from the site here ... so I have started with removing the old ugly green paint and will be looking into colors ... will attach pictures as i slowly move along

Thankyou... yeh i picked up the 2 seats off craigslist, finishing up removing the paint and looking into colors now ... Oh named her ... " sharkbait " lol

got a coat of steel gray on her and alum color but think im going to go black stripe with the alum color to make it stand out some more ... fish will love us lol

decided to bring the alum color down some and will put a black stripe on it tomorrow , coming along now

I havent really decided how im going to make a flat floor in it .. I have been reading posts .. I didnt want a high deck .. I seen something like foam and 1/4 inch wood .. but im not to much of a carpenter so maybe just go with rubber hole mats .. lol

today found alittle more time to get the black stripe on her.. decided to trim with black as well... will flip this week and paint inside with the gray color and figure out what i want to do with this floor... i seen some nice floor plans but with high decks .. not looking to build deck so i guess ill keep it simple ..

Great looking boat. Not sure where you are but the boat shop here Ak McCallum has flooring in rolls that they will sell pretty cheap. My wife bought me a bunch of rubber mats with fish on them. This is the pattern I got for mine. https://fishouflage.com/patterns/BASS_pattern.aspx
They fit just right in my old sears.
