Need help with EZ Glide 870 stick steering.

Hi, I have a 1436 Lowe jon boat with a 1977 Johnson 25hp on back. UPS just dropped off a new EzGlide 870 stick steering kit but it only includes the cable, housing for the stick and the steering stick. Now I have to figure out a drag link set up and how to attach the cable to the motor. I can find the drag link online but I don't know how I'm going to hold the cable still. Does anyone have and pics of a stick steering set up? I need pics of the motor side.Thanks

BTW, The Johnson 25 was on a older boat with a rope steering set up.
