I wouldn't use screws on any thing on a boat personally but that's just me, only because in my experience screws have a tendency to wallow out. Bolt everything you can in my views...

I'll probably just use bolts long enough to go through all 3 boards. That'll be easiest. I made some transom boards out of 1/2 plywood but I think Im going to try and get some thats 1" thick so theres just one piece there. For now thats on hold and trailer wiring is todays project.

anyone know if the white wire is suppose to just be grounded to the trailer?
