can you steel flex a boat without flipping the boat over? The reason I ask is...

I have a line on an old MFG fiberglass boat from '76. It probably weighs more than what my dad and I can handle, so it would have to be painted upside down.

On the plus side, it has a 20 hp Johnson, 15 ft by 70"+, cathedral hull, misc. electronics, and other accessories... $800

Any thoughts?

Ooohh, not sure I'd try to use Steelflex upside down. Sounds like it could be a nightmare. I know Nick Jones used the regular Steelflex and put on multiple thin coats which might work. I had some sagging issues with I attribute to it not being warm enough to apply. Sagging when upside down would mean that it would come off the boat. I would suggest you call Jerry at Fasco and ask him that question. He's really knowledgeable and willing to help.
