I've just been an occasional visitor to the site, but quite a while back I did post a question asking for advice on mounting pedestal seats to the benches on my G3 1436 Jonboat. I was pretty clueless about what would be the best way to go. I just wanted to thank Bassboy1 for his excellent advice. I pretty much followed what he suggested to a "T" and it came out excellent-very sound and I think it looks great. I also got the idea here of mounting the fish finder to a piece of wood bolted to an oarlock hole. I'll be checking in more for more ideas. Here's a couple pics:
