I found this Plascore material on the FSD website and I am considering using it for decking material.

You basically glass it the same way you would plywood. It's about twice the cost of wood.
Anyway, I'm considering using it instead of wood over aluminum framing. Maybe even in addition to 1/2 ply.
This guy built his whole boat from it and I learned a lot from his photo journal. Fileting most importantly.

I wonder what thickness to use, how many layers of glass I'd need to lay to cover a two foot span.

I wonder what freight charges would be on larger sheets? Im trying to find an inexpensive more permanent flooring that plywood.
 
Where I use to live there was a place that made this stuff. It ws called Plastic Core and it was some really tough stuff. My concern would be weight. After you fiberglass it wouldn't it be real heavy. It would be interesting to see if they made different grades of it as far as strength goes. If you could get it in 1 inch thick where you put 1 layer of glass over it the weight should not be to bad
