Question on Depth Finder

I am looking at 2 depth finders for my boat. Both are the same price. One is color no GPS and the other is B/W with GPS. My question is which would you prefer?

Also, there was an article posted here about 2 years ago that went into depth (pun intended) on how to properly set up and use a fish finder - really really helpful stuff.

Cabelas has them at $279.00 on sale Humminbird 345c and the 365i. both are 320 pixels x 340 pixels 2400 watts, but I was at Bass Pro Shop today and found a much better deal. They have a Humminbird 596c color 640 pixels x 480 pixels 2400 watts on sale for $337.49 regular price is $449.99 a $112.50 savings, so I bought that one.
