I bought this 1982 tracker in 87. It had a 1985 50HP merc 2 stroke . I used this boat VERY OFTEN up until about 3 years ago when i bought a tracker TX175 with a 25HP four stroke Merc . I bought the boat with this motor for Quabbin as well as local ponds. Fast forward Zebra muscles etc i never out it in the Q. I don't like the lack of power and really want a G3 with a 60HP. Anywho gave the old dumpster to my youngest son(Kenny) and he and his friends have been restoring it. I re-decked 3 times over the 25 yrs i had it,once reg plywood, once Marine plywood and last pressure treated plywood. Marine PW rotted just as fast as reg and PT plywood way to heavy and delaminated. The boys got reg PW and primed and painted real good. They carpeted and re-wired everything and have been keeping out of trouble during the task. I will post progress.

Just about done and had it running today. Looking for a cheap bench seat, anyone know a cheap way out without spending $250 plus ?
