Rod locker, Storage addtion

Have had the boat a year now, time to modify! Wanted to use aluminum, cant afford it though. Cut a hole in the front deck, cored out some foam. Can put a 7' rod in the new locker, lid will oen in. Did not make lid go to side of boat, that way no rods need to be moved when lid is openend. Extended the deck 18", storage for now. Gonna move batt's forward and add an onboard charger, gottta save some pennies for that. Hinges and vinyl coming soon.

Forgot to say what the boat is. 2004 g3, 1756dlx, 50hp yam, f/f front & rear ( now I need to learn how to use them!)

+2, I am looking for ways to add rod storage to mine. It's the one thing I overlooked when planning my build now I have nowhere to put them without doing some major re-work. Thanks for sharing this.
