Saw a spike chasing a doe this morning while driving to my hunting spot. Got to my stand without seeing/hearing any deer.. and sat till 10:30 without seeing a dern thing.

Rut my ***! :lol:


Anybody seeing bucks chasing in your area? 'Tis the season but I haven't seen a whole lot of action since opening day, and I hunt 4 days a week.

Yes they are here in MA (so i have been reading). A few bucks getting hit by cars too.....It's on.

they start rutting where I'm from in SC near the end of this week... and it goes for about 2 weeks.

now w/ the dang time change i wont be able to hunt but on saturdays ahh i hate winter

haven't seen much in central illinois....buddy's are saying they seeing em down in southern illinois....

to be honest...i'm havin a hard time seeing any at all....patiently waiting for our dear farmer to chop his corn....i know that's where they be partying....

their time will come tho....
