Saturday AM Bass

I haven't been fishing a whole lot this year so when my neighbor asked if I wanted to hit the lagoons(Skokie Lagoons..local spot) for a couple hours on a canoe I said oh yeah! I travelled light and took a baitcaster and a spinning rig, he was chucking poppers on a 6-weight. We round the first point into a cove and I nail a 4lber(well just shy) on a chartreuse and white spinnerbait. This is the biggest bass I've caught from this system and really made my season, also my day as it was the only fish we got all morning.

The particulars:
1/4 ounce spinnerbait
Shimano 7' MH Crucial
Shimano Curado 101d
20lb Suffix braid

Shoot, I woulda left out the "just shy of 4" part. That easily looks a little over 4. Nice fish.
