Hi everyone,
Thanks for your time!
I am in the process of repainting a vintage aluminum boat. I was hoping to add a seam sealant between the interior of the boat and the interior paint.
I am not too sure if this is a good idea. If it is, what is a sealant that people would recommend? I am assuming the sealant needs to be flexible and paintable.
Thanks!
Jason

A few companies make sealing coatings for aluminum boats that do not need a top coat of paint. One that comes to mind is made by " Goop" a sealant with a fiber base that seals small cracks and holes, not sure if it comes in colors or not. Then there is " gluvit" that goes on the inside only. With todays products, no reason for a leak anymore.....
