Smallies and LM

I spent the day with my girlfriend fishing a secluded spot on the skuke. The bigguns were there, but they were not cooperating. We both caught over 20 fish, but they were mostly between eight to 10 inches. We did manage a nice one each though. Adrienne's big fish was bigger than mine, but thats ok because she smiles more than I do when I catch fish. Fish were caught on x-raps, lipless cranks, sammies and a variety of plastics. The biggest smallies were following feeding carp around, looking to pick up and scraps I suppose. I have seen this before, but these fish were very serious about following the carp around, and no matter what I casted they just ignored it.

Adrienne headed back to her house, so I headed to the lake. Not much going on but I managed two small LM around a pound.

Thats the time you grab a boat bumber and paint it carp colored with some trebles on it and throw it out there!
