Came out lucky with a shimano core 50mg from my dad. Had visions of returning it and getting two reels for that price...but once it was on my rod there was no turning back. I am still a little nervious about the curosion issue and longevity of it; hopefully I will be able to keep it in good working order for a long time.

How much large do they run? Cold feet on the ice sucks all the warmth out of you too fast.
