A friend bought two HDS7's. The trickle down from that was me getting his Lowrance GPS enabled 522C AND a fixed mount VHF radio. He got the radio's bundled free with his HDS purchases. I put all this stuff into my Crestliner aluminum boat over the weekend.

Anyway, to get this stuff in I needed to:
Run new power circuits off the fuse block
Install a new temp/transducer for the 522 and cleanly run the lines
Get the 522 up on a RAM mount and onto my console
Get the older Lowrance off my dash and re-mounted in the back of boat
Install the new marine VHF radio
Install the VHF antenna

This was a big giant mess for hours. It's all now cleaned up and everything works great. This is JUST the kinda stuff I sort of like doing this time of year.
