Did a little pit fishing with a buddy from work, Had a slow start. I hate to say it but was flat out getting skunked, Was getting plenty of bites but was messing them all. Torn several worms and lizards in two and decided to switch to a jig and made a world of differance. My buddy my have caught a few more But I had the better fish. Got the jig heads from Jim a while back, They are very nice. And the fish loved them. All were caught in shallow water with super heavy brush and stump cover, caught 7 total.Five were 1-2 pounds and one was 3.5 with the biggest of the day a little over 5.

Nice job on the 5 lb er. I was out today and my fishing partner got 1 5.5 lbs too.
