this was my grandfathers boat that my dad grew up using. About 15 or 16 years ago the transom was to rotten to use so we parked in the field and let it. So a lil while back i decided to completely gut her and rebuild i replaced the transom a couple of years ago and but her on the back burner and started working on her again this past spring. so far i have put new floor in and carpeted it and just built the console for it last week and rebuilt the carb on the 85 Johnson 30hp that is on her. She no where finished but today i got to take her out to she how she would do and i loved it she ran pretty good to be in a field the past 15 years just a lil more fine tuning ill attach some pics of the progress so far and i will post more as time goes on. but them me know what you think about it so far.

The foam will keep the boat at the surface if it should ever flounder.
The pink or blue foam insulation panels work well.
Did you seal the plywood with anything? Is that pressure treated plywood?

Yea it's pressure treated. After I bought it I did research and found out your not suppose to use it but it was to late then. I let the wood dry out for prob 2 months before putting it in and sprayed bed liner spray on the aluminum surfaces it would come in contact with. and I covered the wood and some stuff called Red Guard water sealant
