To make a long story shorter, my father just gave me a 1987 Landau Handler. It is actually a gift for my 2 year old son. It is in ROUGH shape, and as a boat-repair novice, I'm going to call on your expertise in this project. Photos are included.
My plan is remove and replace all the wood. The floor is rotten and smells like old-bad gas. I don't know if it's from a spill or a leaky tank, but I guess I'm going to find out. The boat has been left out in the rain for years, so there's no wonder the flooring is rotten.
From what I've been told, the Johnson 28 HP outboard was still running well and with no issues when it was last used.
Let's get this project started! First things first. The weather has to clear up so that I can get all of this wood out of it.
