TRACKER GRIZZLY 1648 AWL

From what I understand some boat manufacturers use wood in the transom. (under the aluminum) Is the Tracker manufactured in such a way?

I'm likely going to upgrade my old Alumacraft 1436L for something a little larger and without a center seat. I am considering the Alumacraft 1648 NCS as an option as well, but would prefer All Welded vs Riveted if possible. The Alumacraft 1436L that I have is nice and lightweight for smaller bodies of water, but I want something roomier for when I have the dog and the Mrs. with me.

Also, how does the front deck size on the Tracker compare to the Alumacrafts on the Mod V's?

I think the new trackers are all aluminum. Knock on the transom with your hand you will tell if its got wood.

they are all aluminum. mine is a 2009 1448 that is all aluminum.
