Wanted to show a few pics of the recent boat I purchased and some of the work. It's going slow, kinda hard to find time to work on it since I work 3rd shift...

Before (Boat):

Transom had no cap on it when I got it so I put one on it, used a truck side step that I had here, wish I would have gotten pics of the before:

Motor (After, not the correct decal year), I painted and made the decals myself:

And a hopeful floor plan I want to use:

Updates will come as I have time to do them ;-) Let me know what you think, ideas on making it better?

Great looking boat. The paint on the motors looks very nice. I noticed in one of the pics that you have two engines hanging off the transom. Are you making this rig a twin engine? Nice work on the transom by the way. It never ceases to amaze me at what people do on this site. I like your layout, but the only thing I would change would be to move the battery's up front, especially if you will be strapping on two engines. How long is the boat? I can't wait to see what you do.

The second motor on the right of the pic is a parts motor for the one going on it. The boat is 14' 3" long. I had thought about moving the batteries to the front beside the big storage compartment but I think they are going to be to tall for the already installed deck brace. I probably could remove the bracing and raise it to be above the batteries but the brace looks to be factory and it would not fit well if it went higher. Thanks for the reply :) I hope to be cutting the floor this week sometime (Aluminum) and getting it installed. The two front decks are going to be wood for the weight. The floor and back deck will be aluminum.

I work midnights as well so I feel ya on slow progress, 9am seams to be my neighborhoods agreed upon time for lawnmowers and powertools but thats when I am heading to bed.
