trolling motor opinion

I have a 161/2 ft. lund.After 8 years of use i'm thinking of buying a new motor guide varimax v55sw bow mount trolling motor.I currently have a motor guide and it has given me good service up until recently. It is hand control as is the model i am thinking of buying. Does anyone have any experience with this digital model. Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a digital motor guide and have never had an issue I think they are much better that the older models

Thanks redbug...i'm think i'm going to go for it. I was hesitant because of some negative reviews on bass pro and cabelas...most reviews were possitive though.
