Trolling Motor Quick Connect electrical

I want to setup a quick disconnect for the electrical feed to my trolling motor. It is using 8 AWG wire,

I found this on amazon:

Got this one at West Marine. It twists and turns to connect/disconnect.

Those would work but I would get the MK brand ones that look very similar to that, are <$20 at WM and most other retailers, and work great, very durable as I've been using one set for over a year now, with no issues. Local WM's have 'em real close to the MK TM's and accessories they usually stock.

This is what I use & if you buy them at a hi-lo place there cheep.($10 pair or less)

X2 on the Minn Kota at Walmart. Decent quality and you can have it TODAY. Only complaint is the cover for when you are not using the plug can detach easily during installation. You will need to provide the supply wires to the battery.

Thanks this looks good BUT my MotorGuide Bull DOg only has two wires, I assume I can just ignore the third one on this.

Yep - just pick 2 and ignore the third. I did this and it works fine.
