Hi All,
Just looking for opinions on this... I live in south Louisiana so we have many options when it comes to fishing/play time in the water.
I am already thinking about my "next boat"...I would like a boat that I can pull a kneeboard/skier, fish the marshes and swamps, and make the 10 mile run across the Vermilion bay with confidence on the coast of Louisiana.
I assume most will say either a bay boat or a deep V. The Bay boat will probably sit on top of the water more than the V but is not the most accommodating if I just want to take a cruise with the family or pull my grandson on a kneeboard. Did I already answer my own question?
Size wise... I would look at a 17-18 footer with a 90-115 HP engine.
Your thoughts?
