Not the water just the fishing. My buddy and I have fished Aug 13-Aug 16, we caught somewhere over 500 fish, I know you think thats bull but the fishihas been the best of this year. APlus spending more than one day on the water in a row sure helped. Sunday Am from 7:30 to 12:00 noon we caught over 100 fish all rainbows.
We fished Mornings, then took a lunch break at a local cafe and then hit the water till dark.
Hard fishing puts the rod and reals to the test and believe it or not the cheap Mitchell Avocet out performed the higher dollar Shimano. the Shimanos died on day three and the cheaps Avocets still kept ticking.
We caught some great brown and bow lots of 18-20 browns. We threw large lures Rogues mostly and silver and black rapalas in CD-5 and 7. Big lure bigger fish.
