Sooo I had a Feathercraft that I had been restoring and it was stolen. Sooo I had been on the lookout for a new project and came across this. 14' 1961 Grumman? This boat is NOS and had been in storage at a marina for its whole life. Never had a motor on it. Was never in water. Never registered. I tried finding info online about it with no success. Couldn't even find a pic of one. Looking to restore it. Scratches and loose paint from years of storage. Looking to be pointed in the right direction with painting, motor, and windshield. Also any info would be fantastic. The top and inside of the boat is painted grey with white paint speckle/splatters, from factory. With lime green primer. Thanks!

What's the length? Here's a listing of all their 1961 offerings. Maybe that will at least give you a model name.

Thanks for the replies. I had gone through fiberglassics with little success. But thanks all the same. Also thanks Shaugh for the link. Pretty awesome. Hydrofoil kit. Perhaps this boat is a 57. Thanks again

It is listed here.. just verify some of the dimensions. But the choices are only 3 boats rated for 40 in 1961. Has to be a deluxe runabout.

Looks familiar, I think I seen that advertised local to me, or somewhat. Looked at the ad a few times. Nice boat. There's another one, used, for sale too.
I live a few miles from Marathon Boat Group. What used to be Grumman.

I appreciate the info. Any thoughts on what do do about the missing windshield? I have been looking at upd plastics for one with close dimensions. Not sure what the best route is. Please advise

I would investigate to see if it's insurable, and go from there.

Positive flotation is a thing.

holly crap dude that boat is amazing.... like its incredible looking, a true piece of art in my opinion... beautiful
