I've had this boat for a year now, it was functional until I started looking at this site and decided that I wanted comfortable and functional. I decided that I should start with the floors that were in it. The previous owner used whatever he had on hand to make the wood floors. The were rotted and flimsy when I got the boat, needless to say that's when I started looking here for ideas. Here is what I started with..

I fished from it for the year. I looked and looked at the forums, then sat and thought, then looked some more. As I stared at all these builds I knew I wanted more from my little boat. I wanted it to be comfortable which it wasn't. The front seat from which I fished from and controlled the trolling motor from could only be run when I was sitting down. So all day long all I did was stand and sit which was tiring. Due to the slope in the floor I couldn't get a comfortable angle to put my foot to run the motor. It had to change...

I knew the transom had to be rebuilt, I didn't have the time to do this myself so I came across Fishon Fabrications. I took a few pictures of the transom, shot an email off to them and got a reply with the price the next day.. I called Bassboy1 up that same day and made arrangements to drop the boat off.. Saturday morning rolled around I started my 3 hour journey to his shop from Greer, South Carolina. Long story short, I talked with him for a while and told him what I would like to be done either while he had the boat or make arrangements after the transom was done and id make another trip down and drop it off again. It was decided he could keep the boat and get all the work done. Front and rear decks, remove the center seat and make it a walk thru (his idea and I love it) front deck on the boat to mount the trolling motor to along with whatever electronics will be added, and of course the transom. Three weeks later I went to pick it up and it was well worth the wait and the money. Pics to come soon of Bassboy1's work.

I have the same boat and had rip the rotten transom out. Now can't figure out how to get new one in without cutting or welding, any suggestions
