The wife and I took the day off from work today for our anniversary, and made a 65 mile drive to the restaurant we always try to go to on this day. Took my camera and got some shots after we had eaten. Temp were hovering around 80 today!

This (Anna's Garden Cafe) is next to the main restaurant (Patti's 1880's Settlement):

Also part of Patti's Settlement:

Lighthouse Marina, Grand Rivers, KY (across the hwy from the restaurant). Barkley Lake is on the other side of the jetty.

It still functions, but they had the water barely going as the workers were prepping everything for the tourist season. Normally, the water wheel has a good flow going to it, and you can see where it's bleached an arc into the wood on the side of the building. The "1880's Setllement" is basically the name of the place/restaurant, and is totally geared for tourist, but does have some great food, with large helpings. It's family owned and has really good customer service in the retuarants and gift shops.
