Took the boat out for the second time, this year, yesterday. Super windy afternoon. Ben and I picked up these 2 largies on our lead-free jigs we produced. These are the first 2 fish on our jigs. Way to start it off if I do say so myself. Both fish were in prespawn staging areas.

Ben's was first and it weighed 4lb2oz although I'm wondering how good my scale is working because it looked bigger. She had a big gut.

Mine went 3lb14oz which seemed about right

Hey - show Jim how to catch those fish - he swears there are no bass in Mass (not even stripers, HAW!)

WTG man! =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Good going Derek, must be a special feeling catching bass on your home made jigs =D>

Thanks. Guys. Both jigs show use a 1oz lead mold. With the tin bismuth alloy we use it should be 3/4 oz. I use a MH 7'3 veritas with an older diawa reel. 15 lb Floro
