Where a guy can find light duty spindles, with a bolt-on, flat-backed mounting flange?
I'm building a small cargo trailer to pull behind my T-bucket, and want to have true independent suspension under it. What I'm doing is building my own control arms, and intend to have a plate, bushing-mounted, to the control arms. The spindles will in turn bolt to the plate, then or coarse the hubs and rim/tire assemblies go on. The object is to have a complete spare spindle, hub, tire assembly, with a small tool roll, that I can keep in the trailer for breakdowns.
I've Googled until I fall asleep at the keyboard, and have only found spindles with brake backing plate flanges.

Have you checked tractor supply? Also check out Bugeyed.net they specialize in old VW parts. Many of them had Independent rear suspensions. I have built 2 tiny trailers to be pulled behind Harleys and used there rear hub setups.
