I have recently started to restore and deck out my 1961 lone star 16' semi v-hull. I use to build fibeglass boats (Wahoo) so I have many items already that has been sitting in a box. I recently came across a deal that maybe some of the members have not. I went to Lowes the other day looking to find 3m 5200 adhesive caulk and found that SOME store do have this caulk and at a SMALL cost not like those "BOAT" stores out there. Their cost was $9.68 for a 10oz tube and that was great because the boat store down here in Richmond,VA were like $17.00 to $26.00. Also If you have a BMG metals in the area they have a scrap bin where they keep their cuts from thier pre orders where customers want a certain size. These scrape bins are where the deals are if you need aluminum angle and diamond plate...Fraction of the cost of an entire peice or sheet. :LOL2:
