Anyone cook and eat crows?
My brother was given a crow this weekend thinking about doing it the same as dove. Wrap the breast in bacon and broil.

I've had to eat crow more times than I'd like to admit.

interesting: saw a program on TV, where they were quail hunting. when they returned to the lodge there was a meal on the grill. it was crow, not quail as I would have expected. never knew that people ate them. curious to find out if you like them.

I've been on this site before. The recipes they have look good but I only have 1 crow so I'm looking for something simple.
From what the recipes say, you have 2 "lime size" pieces of crow breast to eat. The rest of the bird is trash.

I'd remove the breast meat and do a quick, simple saute or pan sear in some olive oil. Season with salt, pepper & garlic powder before cooking. =D>
