Delaware river producing nice smallies this year!

For anybody in the area, I have been having VERY GOOD success on the Delaware river this year, just north of the Smithfield Beach, PA boat launch.

Catching nice sized smallies every week!

Last Sunday my son and I went out for a half day and we caught over a dozen rock bass, over 1/2 dozen smallies, plus 2 monsters that broke my line while jumping. Had a nice 14lb catfish and my son even caught a fresh water eel.

Usually I vary the lakes and rivers I go to, but I have been having such a good year I'm not fishing anywhere else....can't wait to get back there this weekend!
