Just needing help on transducer placement on a 1436 flatbottom Jon.

I would try to stay at least 8 inches away from the motor and in between two of your bottom straits. Do not put it right behind the bottom strait

Also make sure the ducer body is mounted half of it is below the bottom of the boat. And it's level or slightly angled down in the back. This will give you good readings even at WOT.
