When I say reservoir I am referring to a large natural or artificial lake used as a source of water supply.

I have a 16 ' V boat with two TM on the stern and a foot control on the bow = all 12v system with three batteries

At my local "electric only lake" they allow you to have your gas motor attached but not use it. At a 155lbs I would rather leave it on. My electric setup includes a 55lbs trolling motor on the back, a 55lbs Ipilot on the bow, two batteries and a switch to change between them. I can troll consistently for up to 8 hours with up to 3 people in the boat.
