I am restoring an '88 Lund Tyee 5.5 (18') and need to put in a new floor. It also appears as if the foam is saturated. The plan is to put in a new floor, epoxy it, and wrap with nautolex. I am going to wrap it in sections to that it is removable. Does anyone have recommendations on expandable foam that I could use? I used the blue insulation foam for my last project, and have seen others use pool noodles, however, I would like to use expanding foam on this boat. Also, can anyone recommend an epoxy to use on the floor? And how much I may need? I also plan on building a front deck and will need to totally rebuild the consoles as well.
Thanks
Brian
