So.......I had my mind made up to replace my shallow 1230 jon with an Alumacraft after looking around. Them came across G3. I know about their bigger bass boats but did not know they made Jon boats and they make a 1236 which is what I am looking for. Anyone know much about these vs. Alumacraft? Seems to be about $250 more than the Alumacraft. Gauge looks about the same.

I have a G3 1544 and so far Im pleased with it. I did no research just bought what the local dealer had
