Understand that I can basically determine positive and negative and that is about it. For my 18' Duracraft rebuild I am redoing all the wiring except the ignition and motor wiring which is basically intact and I can hopefully figure out later.
What gauge wire to use for the trolling motor hookup. It is a Minnkota Powerdrive, ser # MKJE0081404, maybe a 1996.
I think it used a 30amp fuse, could that be correct?
What gauge wire from battery to fuse panel?
I have two bilge pumps, how do I determine the correct wire gauge and fusing?
What gauge wire do I use for the bow and stern lights? fuses?

Officially, you should get with the manufacturers for the different motors.

I would use 16g on the pumps and 10-12g on the trolling motor depending on how far I was running.
The longer the wire the bigger it needs to be.

I would use 16 gauge for everything except the trolling motor. Actually I used trailer wiring, its 4 wires connected, color coded and about $10 for 25 feet.

For the trolling motor I would go with 6-8 gage wire.
