Grease fittings

I have a 99 9.9hp Johnson. I am planning to winterize it the next day I have time. I also want to grease all the joints. I've never used a grease gun although I did figure out how. But my question is how much grease do I put in each fitting?

I pump the grease in until I can see it come out somewhere, then wipe things down.

Some is better than none!
