Alright I am an avid fisherman as well as bowfisherman, after struggling with my boat the past few seasons I decided that it needed a makeover. I am putting a deck on the front so that i can use it for bowfishing as well as musky fishing. The seats will be covered in carpet, carpeted plywood floors will be placed between the seats and i will be redoing the wiring as well.

Got some more work done lately, got the braces for the floors and got the back floor completely done. Also mounted all my rod holders and the fire extinguisher. One of the guys I work with found me an older minn kota bow mount auto pilot that has been rebuilt into a powerdrive, its a 42lb thrust, 48" shaft and I can get it for 150 bucks.

Ok...brand new to this site (which is AWESOME by the way) I am probably going to sound dumb, as well as repetative, but I was just wondering how you framed out the front deck? I have a boat similar to yours, and am looking to do the exact same thing to mine. Just not sure how to fasten the deck to the boat. This is the only part I am having trouble with deciding how I want to do it. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright I just finished the boat tonight, for now at least. I got my new trolling motor mounted on the platform I made that also acts as storage for the foot control and also hides the plug receptacle.
