Just curious if anyone here has any ideas as to how this was done. I guess the larger mercury 75-90hp L3 powerheads will fit on the baby 50-60hp L3 midsections. Wonder what model outboard jet is on it.

Some one on scream and fly a few years ago cut down and welded a 90hp mid section and put a 60hp short shaft trim on it. He sold it and the guy that boat it pulled the prop lower and threw a jet on it. (Probably what ever model fits the 90hp) Look closely at the mid and you can tell where it's been cut and welded compared to a stock 60 short mid. Never seen it run but talked to a few guys that have. Said it made a whole lot of noise and went nowhere fast. Might be a different story with a prop but the motors had some custom work like the intake and reed cages.
