Does anyone have any tips on how to install pedestal seat base plates onto an aluminum bench seat? I thought about just screwing it down but im afraid of the screws stripping out of the hole through the aluminum... PLEASE HELP

You can do what I did to my first Chub Tub.

I carpeted wood and screwed through the wood and into the aluminum. As long as I owned it, I never had a screw back out on me. I used the coated, lifetime warranty decking screws. For the plate itself, I used big stainless screws.
The beauty part to the wood was that it added extra reinforcement to the relatively thin aluminum that Tracker used so you wouldn't get the flex when you leaned in the seat, as compared to just using the plate by itself.

And if you need a mirror finish, stainless steel pedestal plate I have a brand new one for sale for $15, ha-ha. Sorry for the horrible FS plug. :p

Ha-ha, I didn't even notice that! The 1436 is a great boat. There are many times that I wish i still had it. I love the roominess of my 1648 NCS, but I miss being able to pick up the boat with a buddy and throw it in any pond we could find. On top of that, the low floors and 3 batteries on the floor in the middle really made for a respectably stable fishing rig.

Like I said, I never had a problem with the screws and I even used the pedestal risers so that you sat at a normal/natural height.
