Hello all, I found an interesting lot at a yard sale yesterday, a 1946-47 evinrude 1.1 hp, a 1967-68 7.5 hp sears, and a 5 gallon fuel can for $50.00.

The evinrude runs great after a good tune up, but I'm having a few issues that I hope someone can help me out with.

What is the right fuel mixture for both engines?

What is the point gap for the sears?

I've found replacement parts for both, but can't find much info on tuning specs.

Thanks for any info.

Can't help ya on the Sears, as I am a Johnson Evinrude guy, but the 'Rude runs 24:1. Use TC-W3 rated 2 stroke outboard oil (basically the same oil you run a modern outboard on). A lead additive is not needed on 2 strokes.

Anything else you need to know on the 'Rude?
