whats the best way to remove overspray off an aluminum boat? it was like this when i got it. just trying to clean it up a bit and shine it afterwards.

Lacquer thinner will remove anything.

I'd go with a chemical remover before mechanical. Aircraft stripper and saran wrap is hard to beat and won't affect the aluminum.

To polish, a cloth wheel on a 3/8" drill will work wonders when coated with your choice of aluminum polish liquid. Just wax it afterwards so the water doesn't turn it brown again.

If the over spray is light, Automotive Rubbing Compound will work as well...Jerry
