Lund or Lowe?

Hey guys, fist time post here. I have been cruising around for a while and finally decided to join. I have been looking for a good 14ft semi v hull boat to put a casting deck on and bass fish from and have narrowed it down to a 1990 lund with a 1990 25 hp mercury and a hull rite trailer. Or a 2011 Lowe brand new with a matching 2008 trailer (supposedly new) for 1000. The Lowe is a A 1457 it has no motor but I know of a 2010 9.9 mercury I can buy for 1350. So do I take the 90 lund for 2500 or the newer lowe for roughly 2500? As a side note both are short shafts I believe. Although the Lowe's current owner claims the transom is a 20 incher.

I have a Lowe A1457 (2012) It has a 15" transom. Standard right from the factory.

What's the condition of the Lund and the 25? I would probably have to take the newer Lowe unless the Lowe and 25 are in real good condition.
