Hi to all, I'm putting in new carpet on my 96' bass tracker dual console pro team 18, Question is since there's wood and aluminum that has to be glued do I have to buy two kinds of glue or can I just use one type
Thanks for any info

I just used indoor/outdoor carpet glue from Home Depot & have had no problem. Used on wood & alum both. Use a notched trowel to spread glue & then roll carpet down with a pc of PVC pipe.

3M Super 77 and 90.

Both work well, but 90 is a lot stringier/tackier and I much prefer it.

I have used the goop in a tub before, didn't really care for it, it is messy and takes a while to dry. With contact adhesive, spray both sides, wait 5 minutes, and stick it.

Thanks for the info really appreciate it, one more thing the wood seems fine should I seal it or just go ahead and just glue the carpet
Thanks
