my 12' starcraft V, (no name yet)

so i picked up the gem from a co worker of mine for 120 bucks with the trailer, over all it was very rough, traler and boat need a lot of work, started with the trailer, new bearings, seals, lights and wiring, and a new winch, scored a set of tires on craigslist for 10 bucks and the trailer was road ready( still need bearing caps, forgot to grab them when i got the bearings) as for the boat, it was sitting in the guys yard since 2009 and needless to say was filled with leaves, dirt and garbage, got it all cleaned out, and pressure washed the inside and out with a hot water vineger mix to pull the loose paint and old seam sealant out, pulled the old wood off the transom and replaced and stained and sealed, also noticed, when i removed the old wood, that the only tag i found was the starcraft MFG tag, it was painted over but i got it clean enough to see its a starcraft sealite 12o/b but alas no Hull Number... anyway, got my old 6hp evinrude long shaft running and traded it for a 6hp twin merc redstripe short. I got some new rivets and replaced the broken/missing ones and resealed all the seams with gutter seal( worked great, still taking it out on the pond and paddling it around for some panfish) i want to do a few small mods, like a low mid deck and a medium fore deck for storage, and so rod holders, as for the repaint, i havent decided the colors, but i know i want to do a 2 tone on the exterior split at the waterline, and the inside i need it to be durable, as the dog and girlfriend love to go out the the small island in the river to picnic, any suggestions or tips are welcome, thanks again Jammin

i just picked one up just like it, mine is a 1970 and its camoed out as well. big improvement over my 1232 jon i had. youll love the boat, looking forward to seeing what you do with it. sweet find
