Hey guys I'm starting on my second boat build. bigger this time! this one is a 14x36 lowe its 56" wide at the top so its FAR bigget that the 1232 i built last time lol
gonna do a deck in front and back but haven't decided to do aluminum or wood yet. i have a 89' evinrude 8hp to push it and a 40lb minkoata to troll with. no electronics or lights as of yet.

I've recently gone from the 1232, to 1436, to 1542. No doubt there's a change on the size.. much more workable space. Good looking platform, and a 1436 flatbottom is awesome. Buddy still has one and that's almost exclusively what we use for hunting. Mainly stick to my 1542 for fishing.

id love to find a bigger boat. a 15 or 16ft with a wider bottom would be amazing!

Yeah I love my 15ft. Looks huge next to it, small when you're inside though lol. Did you keep the 8hp from the tracker? I use a 6hp on my 15ft and it's great. No speed demon but alone with decoys it starts every time and gets me there at 11-12mph. Must better than electric!

I'm liking how you reused the bench in the rear to make the two separate seats.
