Anyone have a boat in the outerbanks?

I will be in the outerbanks for the honeymoon from Oct 10th to the 15th.

Can you put the wife to be and I on some big fish?

Can't help with the fishing trip but have been to the OBX and it is an awesome place. I camped at the National Seashore and lots of guys were fishing in the surf. It's not the same as fishing off-shore of course but could be a fall-back idea. Congrats and good luck with the new life and the fishing!

Thank you, We are staying in Carova 4x4 area, rented a house and plan on Surf and Pier fishing the entire time. Oct is when the surf fishing is good. Wedding date is 10/10/10

Thought about chartering a boat for the day but money is tight. Weddings are expensive.

Just a question,are you talking about the Corolla area?That would be the northern most part of the OB.Nice place and 4 wheeling is ok there.

Yes, actually going to Carova Beach. Our house we rented is on the ocean side 9.5 miles up the beach.
