Please help me identify this part..

Hello I’m a newbie and I’m working on an old 68 Smokercraft and I’m trying to identify this part so and can find one either after market or dealer for that matter. It’s the support bar on each end of the bench seats. Could someone please tell me the proper name for it so I can possibly find one?

They are typically called " gussets" ou will probably have to find a generic, many different variations !!

Aluminum boat hull flexing/twisting

Hello everybody. I recently turned a runabout closed bow in to a “fishing” style boat with bench seats. I have found that the sides of the hull flexes when i shake the boat. The floor and bow is nice and sturdy. I know i am just shaking it when its on the ground but is this amount of flex okay...
