Hey everyone. I have a 1985 Evinrude super 25 short shaft, model # E25RWCOS and want to convert it to a long shaft if possible. Can someone please help me out with ideas as to what I will need? If not I will be looking to sell or trade this one. Thank you all very much for your help.

You will need driveshaft, shift linkage, spacer,& extra bolts for the extension spacer.
Any marina that works on older motors should have these items.

Crazymanme2, gave you a good suggestion to find a marina or outboard salvage yard. Much cheaper than purchasing new from parts dealer.

Here is a link to a parts diagram. Parts, 64, 69, 70-73 and the longer drive shaft 20 item #15

Here are bunch of links to some savage yards or marinas that have online communication and contact information.

Here is a list of savage yards around the US that you can contact by email.
